Groups

Groups at NEAR Counseling and Wellness offer a supportive space for reflection, learning, and connection with others who may be navigating similar experiences. While individual therapy focuses on your personal process, group work can offer opportunities to explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and coping strategies in a shared, supportive environment.

Groups may incorporate discussion, psychoeducation, mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, grounding techniques, gentle movement, journaling, or experiential exercises depending on the focus and goals of the group. These approaches are integrated thoughtfully and accessibly, with an emphasis on creating a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and emotionally safe.

Group work can help support:

  • increased self-awareness and insight
  • emotional support and connection
  • communication and relational skills
  • greater understanding of patterns and responses
  • the experience of feeling less alone

Groups are designed to balance reflection with practical tools that can support daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

Pricing: Group pricing varies depending on the length, structure, and frequency of the offering. Additional details are provided at the time of registration or inquiry.

A Note on Confidentiality: Groups at NEAR are intended to provide a supportive and respectful environment. Participants are asked to honor the privacy and confidentiality of others to help foster emotional safety and trust within the group space.
